How do credits work on Syncro?+
Credits are how you pay for actions like Boost, Super Likes, and unlocking features. 1 EUR = 100 base credits. Top up €10 or more and you get bonus credits on a sliding scale (up to +50% on €200+). Credits never expire and are non-transferable between accounts.
How do I cancel a Boost?+
Once a Boost is active it runs for the duration you chose (30 min, 1 hour, 3 hours, or 24 hours) and cannot be paused. If a technical issue prevented your Boost from working as expected, contact us within 48 hours and we'll re-credit your account.
Can I get a refund on credits?+
Yes — EU/EEA/UK users have a 14-day right of withdrawal. If you haven't spent the credits, we'll refund the full amount. If you've already spent some, we refund what remains. See our Terms for details.
How do I verify my profile?+
Open your profile, tap Verify, and follow the prompts to take a short selfie video. We use this to confirm you're a real person — your video is never shown publicly. Verified profiles receive 3× more matches on average.
Why didn't my message send?+
Messages sometimes fail because the recipient unmatched, your connection dropped, or your account was temporarily restricted. Try again — if it keeps happening, restart the app and check your internet. Still stuck? Send us a note below.
How do I report someone?+
Open the profile or chat, tap the ⋯ menu and choose Report. Pick the reason that fits best. Our trust & safety team reviews every report — usually within 24 hours. Reporting also automatically unmatches you.
How do I delete my account?+
Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent — your matches, messages, and any unspent credits are removed and cannot be restored. If you just want a break, try Pause instead.
Can I change my username after signing up?+
Yes — you can change your username once every 30 days from Profile → Edit. Usernames must be 3–20 characters, lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores only. Once changed, the previous username is reserved for 30 days before someone else can use it.
What's the difference between Like and Super Like?+
A Like is the standard signal — they only see it if they like you back. A Super Like (150 credits) puts you at the top of their stack with a star, and they're notified you're interested before they swipe. Super Likes get matched 3× more often.
Why aren't I seeing more matches?+
A few things help: complete all profile fields, add 4–6 photos (clear face on the first), write a real bio, and select genuine interests. Verified profiles match 3× more. If you've adjusted filters, widen them — narrow filters mean fewer profiles.
