Syncro is a space to build genuine connections in a safe, inclusive and respectful environment. We want every person on our platform to feel welcome, protected and free to be themselves. To make that possible, every member — wherever they are in the world — must follow these Community Guidelines.
These Guidelines apply to all content and conduct on Syncro, including your profile, messages, interactions with other members, and your behaviour off the platform where it affects the safety or wellbeing of other members. They form part of your agreement with us and should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Profile guidelines
1.1 Age
You must be at least 18 years old to use Syncro. Creating a profile that misrepresents your age — in either direction — is not permitted. We reserve the right to ask you to verify your age at any time, and we will block any account we have reasonable grounds to believe belongs to a person under 18.
1.2 Profile photos
Your profile photos should represent you honestly. At least one profile photo must clearly show your full face and depict only you.
Not permitted:
- Photos so heavily distorted, filtered or digitally altered that you can't be clearly identified.
- Memes, graphics, or images consisting primarily or solely of text.
- Photos in which a child appears alone or is unclothed, or any image that could be construed as sexualising a minor.
- Images of other people without their consent.
1.3 Username
Your username should be an authentic representation of the name you use in everyday life. You don't have to use your legal name, but your chosen name must not mislead other members.
Not permitted:
- Any word or phrase that violates these Guidelines.
- The name of a real celebrity, public figure or fictional character.
- Symbols, emojis, numbers, punctuation or descriptive words used in place of a name.
- Social media handles, messaging usernames or contact details.
1.4 Profile information
All information you provide in your profile — including your age, gender, location and photographs — must be accurate and honestly represent who you are. Intentional misrepresentation of any profile information is a breach of these Guidelines.
2. Content and conduct
The following behaviours and types of content are prohibited on Syncro. This list is not exhaustive — we may take action against any content or conduct that we reasonably consider to be harmful, even if it is not explicitly described below.
Syncro is not an adult content platform. We do not permit sexually explicit, nude or sexually vulgar content in profiles, messages or any other part of the platform. We also prohibit any attempt to buy, sell, advertise or arrange the commercial exchange of sexual or romantic services or content.

- Creating a new account or using a VPN or other technical means to circumvent a restriction or ban.
- Any other attempt to manipulate the platform's matching, moderation or safety systems.
3. Consent
Consent is fundamental to every interaction on Syncro. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous. It can be withdrawn at any time. Never assume that a prior interaction, match or conversation implies consent to any subsequent contact or behaviour. Sexual activity without consent is a criminal offence under Polish law (Kodeks karny, Art. 197) and the laws of all EU Member States, and may result in criminal prosecution and civil liability.
These principles apply both on the platform and in any in-person interactions that arise from connections made on Syncro.
4. Safety & reporting
4.1 How we keep Syncro safe
We use a combination of automated moderation systems and human moderators to review accounts, profiles, messages and interactions for content or conduct that may violate these Guidelines, our Terms and Conditions, or applicable law. Where automated systems make decisions that significantly affect you, you have the right to request human review — see Section 5.
4.2 How to report
Our members play a vital role in keeping Syncro safe. If you encounter content or behaviour that concerns you, please use the in-app "Block & Report" feature on the relevant profile or in your chat, or contact us at feedback@syncro.me.
Disagreeing with someone's views or simply disliking another member is not sufficient grounds for a report. Submitting false or malicious reports — including reporting a member purely because of their gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity or other protected characteristic — is itself a violation of these Guidelines and may result in action against your account. We won't disclose your identity to the member you've reported.
4.3 Off-platform conduct
Your responsibility as a Syncro member doesn't end when you leave the App. If we become aware of harmful conduct between members in person, via other messaging platforms, or involving alleged criminal behaviour connected to a Syncro connection, we may take action against the relevant account as if the conduct had occurred on our platform.
4.4 Cooperation with authorities
Where necessary and proportionate, and in accordance with applicable law, we will cooperate with law enforcement authorities — including Polish Police, the Prosecutor's Office and EU judicial authorities — in investigations into alleged criminal conduct involving Syncro members.
5. Enforcement
5.1 How we enforce
When determining what action to take in response to a violation, we consider the nature and severity of the conduct, whether it's a first or repeated violation, the context, and any mitigating or aggravating circumstances. Possible actions include:
- Content removal — removing the specific content that violates these Guidelines.
- Warning — notifying you that your conduct or content has breached these Guidelines.
- Temporary restriction — limiting your access to certain features for a defined period.
- Account suspension — temporarily suspending your account pending review.
- Permanent ban — permanently terminating your account across Syncro and any other apps operated by Bizcore sp. z o.o.
5.2 Statement of reasons
In accordance with Article 17 of the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065), when we take action against your account or your content, we will provide you with a clear statement of our reasons, unless we are legally prevented from doing so. Statements of reasons are provided via in-app notification and/or email.
5.3 Appeals
If you believe we have made an error, you may appeal that decision within six (6) months of notification. To appeal, complete the form linked in the in-app notification you received, or contact us at feedback@syncro.me, explaining clearly why you consider the decision to be incorrect.
We will review appeals in a timely, non-discriminatory and non-arbitrary manner. Appeals are not determined solely by automated means. If your appeal is unsuccessful, you may seek resolution through our out-of-court dispute settlement process or through the courts — see Section 6.
5.4 Repeat & serious violations
Certain violations — including child sexual exploitation and abuse, terrorism, human trafficking, and non-consensual intimate image sharing — will result in immediate and permanent account termination without warning. We will report such conduct to the relevant authorities as required by law.
6. Your legal rights
As a user based in the European Union, you have rights under the Digital Services Act, the GDPR and Polish consumer protection law, including:
- Right to a statement of reasons when we restrict, remove or take down your content (DSA Art. 17).
- Right to appeal our content moderation decisions through our internal system (DSA Art. 20).
- Right to out-of-court dispute settlement through a certified body (DSA Art. 21).
- Right to judicial redress before the competent courts of your country of residence (Brussels I bis Regulation).
- Right to lodge a complaint with the Digital Services Coordinator in your Member State, or in Poland with the President of the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE).
